Week 15 - The Final Chapter!

Hi All,
It is hard to believe that we are into our final week of class. I must say that I very much enjoyed getting to know you (more for some) this semester. It has been a pleasure sharing with you some resources, activities, skills and methods to take into your student teaching. I also look forward to hearing your performance assessments this week and talking about your future goals. Please make sure that you finish the safety materials in the dropbox and complete the final RTOP survey. All work needs to be in by Thursday, April 29th. And, I am always willing to help answer questions about science that you may have in the future.

Take care and good luck! Please keep in touch.

Week 12

Welcome back from Easter Break,

This week we are observing the 4th grade class at Jolley at 1:30 on Tuesday. On Thursday, we will be meeting during the regular classtime at IdeaFest at the MUC. Pick up a form from Dr. E when you get there. Our Ch 1-3 quiz is postponed to be included with Ch 4-5 so that we can talk about the 5 E model and applying it to the classroom with some practice. We will also be discussing performance assessments next week and activities that use this type of assessment. Looking forward to your final lesson plan and teaching. I am arranging this with Jolley as most of you asked to be able to actually teach your lesson. More practice makes a great teacher!

Have a great week,
Dr. E
